QUINTA DE COVELA - WINE TASTING DINNER – 25.03.16
Quinta da Ria's Restaurant 2016 Wine Tasting Dinners season opened in association with Quinta de Covela.
Last March 25th Douro came to the Algarve for a perfect union between the wines from this producer and the menu designed by our Chef Humberto Paulos.
The symbiosis between the ingredients and the selected wines was at the highest level, the architecture of the menu was greatly praised, especially the main dishes: Turbot Confit with mediterranean caponata, notes of pepper & fresh oregano and Roasted Lamb Tenderloin with bread crumbs, sautéed vegetables & thyme olive oil.
The selected wines for the night were the Covela Rosé Magnum 2014, Covela Branco Escolha Magnum 2013, Covela Escolha Tinto 2012, Covela Reserva Tinto Magnum 2012, Covela Reserva Branco 2013 and Quinta das Tecedeiras Porto Tawny Reserva.
