Quinta da Ria

We played the Ria course after 14:00 (twilight - price / performance therefore very good). End of April was in excellent condition, despite obviously already full occupancy since Easter. Is for me one of the most beautiful facilities (nature and space architecture) in the Algarve. After the almost exclusively villa-lined squares in Vilamoura, the scenery was a blessing. You can walk the place very well, because not too hilly and no long ways from green to tea. Staff in the clubhouse was competent and very friendly. It's fun...

This is one of my favorite courses and I've played it many times but always in January- good condition - good views and well run and managed-back nine is a great test of golf-play here in natural surroundings with no buildings surrounding the course.

This beautiful golf course, facing Ria Formosa, in Algarve, allows a perfect round, as it demands your skills, at the same time that allows you to feel like the best golfer in the world. Cozy clubhouse with a good terrace, excellent for the sunny days that usually are the standard around.

Beautiful course on the ocean with great views, olive and fig trees and good test of golf in great condition at fair price. Food at restaurant was excellent. Club rentals were good.

I am fortunate in that I have played golf all over the world, over 1,000 courses and I think the 36 holes here is as a good a golfing experience as you will find anywhere in the world. I have played both courses several times and found them challenging but fun!
